Water Harvesting
The araea recieves about 1000mm of rainfall every year. But due to the hillyh terrain most of the water flows off to the riverlets and drain into big river Narmada . The ground water table could be maintained only if eoungh water get perculated into the ground in proportion to the quatity water is taken out from underground. In order to enhance the ground water table we had constructed 24 village ponds, three mud dams, 4 gabion structures and 2 stop dams and a number of wells. These structures have to a great extend helped improve the availability of water and wetness of the soils beneficial to agricultural activities.
