The planners of the society envisioned a harmonious society where equal rights and opportunities are promoted and ensured among backward sections of the society. To reach the goal of the society, various approaches are adapted in working with rural and urban poor.
Genesis Of Sanjeevani Society
Sanjeevani is a dream of a group of professionals who belong to CMI religious Congregation, which caters to the marginalized population with focus on women and children. It is based in Bhopal having several branches in Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Raisen, Guna, Sagar and Bhopal districts. Sanjeevani was registered on July 8, 2003 under MP Firms and Societies Act of 1973 (No.44) - Reg. No. JN. 6928. It is also registered under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act in 2004. Since the inception of the society, it has been functioning on various platforms for improving local governance, professionalizing youth, rehabilitating displaced and abandoned children, Rehabilitating people with disability, empowering women and sensitizing communities on conservation of environment.

Our Area of Operation
The registered office of Sanjeevani is at Kheri village Chavara Complex and its administrative office is at Govind Garden Bhopal. The major activities are based in Bhopal having several branches in Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Chhindwara, Raisen, Guna, Sagar and Bhopal districts. The major interventions are Quality Education for poor children, child protection, Rehabilitation of people with disability, women empowerment, Youth animation, Health Care Service, Agricultural Assistance, Rural Development, Advocacy etc.

Legal Framework Of Sanjeevani
Sanjeevani society is a registered Organization with 25 members having an General Body which meets once in a year to evaluate the total performance and formulate major policies and programs. A Governing Body is constituted of 9 members, which meets at least 4 times in a year to resolve issues and make innovative plans for its branches and design programs and projects to realize the goals and objectives of the society.
The Society functions with the help of branch directors, coordinators, staff and professionals who are placed at the grass-roots level and are given occasional training, exposures and enrichment programms. The directors are assisted by coordinators, field staff and animators. All the branch directors meet at least once in 6 months to evaluate the programs and projects and chalk out effective mechanisms to implement the projects and activities.
